Before Coming to the Maze:
Whether you are a busy mom packing lunches or coming to the Maze by yourself, there are some things you should be aware of before you start your adventure. The Maze is in a rural area with hay, wheat, potato, beet, and bean fields all close. Parking is in a grass field that may have pot holes, mud puddles and rocks. The hay pyramid and bale maze is made out of straw. The corn pits have corn and wheat in them. The Corn Maze has tight paths with leaves over hanging. There are very few lights at night but mosquitos may rampent. Most days are very sunny at the Maze even when Mountain Home is under rain. You get to pick your pumpkin right out of the patch and fun times are always bound to happen. Now you may be thinking, what does all this mean for me?
- Prepare if you have allergies
- Wear walking shoes ready for dirt
- Wear long pants and jackets
- Bring flashlights if coming at night
- Bring and wear mosquito spray
- Wear sunscreen
- Bring gloves for picking pumpkins

Parents, be aware your children may throw a fit, scream, cry, run away, claim they don't know you or worse when you say it is time to leave. Don't worry, this is one of the common side effects of the Maze. You are welcome to stay longer or come back another time.
