Bee Prepared
Our flowers are in an agricultural area, in the middle of an operating farm. Be prepared for the weather and insects! We do not spray herbicides or pesticides on our flowers so there are natural pollinators all around and lots of pollen! If you have severe allergies please take all necessary precautions to protect yourself.
The sunflower field has walking paths and if we are watering it can get muddy, so wear outdoor footwear. As an outdoor experience it's a great idea to bring and apply mosquito repellent. We want you to have fun.
NO DOGS, PLEASE.
To pick the flowers you must use clippers; bring your own or borrow ours. Some flower stems have small spines that can poke your skin and they have sap, so gloves are recommended. Bring containers to keep your flowers in water on the ride home or we can sell you mason jars so your sunflowers stay fresh and beautiful.
WARNING
Bees love sunflowers!
more info
We have operated an Quey's Maze corn maze & pumpkin patch during the month of October since 2007. During October, we offer hayrides, pumpkins and squash in many varieties that you can pick straight from the patch, bale mazes, bale pyramids and a straw trampoline.
In 2023 we added a sunflower festival for the first two weeks of August. We have three acres of sunflowers, with over seven-five varieties of flowers. Our corn maze & pumpkin patch are open the entire month of October and the sunflower festival occurs in the first two weeks of August because sunflowers bloom before pumpkins grow.
We hope to teach people about Idaho agriculture and offer a family, friendly, fun experience.
